Dr. C. D. Naidu graduated in B.Tech. from JNTUA college of Engineering, Ananthapur in Electronics & Communication Engineering and Post Graduate M. Tech in Instrumentation & Control Systems from Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupathi.

He was awarded Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTUH College of Engineering, Hyderabad. Dr. Naidu served as Faculty of ECE Dept, Head of the Department ECE, as Dean Academics and also as Vice Principal. He is serving as Principal for the past 15 years at VNR VJIET, Hyderabad.

Under his leadership VNR VJIET got Accredited by NAAC with ‘A++’ Grade under the Revised Accreditation Framework, with CGPA 3.68 out of 4.00 in Cycle-III & 3.73 out of 4 in cycle -II which is considered to be highest grade. VNR VJIET is Awarded with QS I-Gauge Diamond overall rating for a span of 3 years. E-Lead certified Institute by QS I-Gauge.

Dr. Naidu has 40 years of Teaching/R & D experience, and has 42 technical publications, 4 granted patents to his credit. He has executed 6 Research Projects worth 1.5 Crores. He has guided 8 Ph.D’s. He successfully organized more than 25 Short Term Courses and Programmes under the aegis of ISTE/UGC/JNTU/VNRVJIET. He got 15 Awards at State/National level. He acted as expert committee member in various NAAC accreditation visits.

He is a Member of IEEE (USA), Life Member of ISTE (India), and Fellow of IETE (India). He is a Member of Executive Council, JNTUH.
