The Department of Mathematics and Management Sciences, with highly qualified and experienced faculty, focuses on providing a strong mathematical foundation tailored to engineering applications and developing business acumen. Its curriculum and research activities are specifically designed to support the analytical, problem-solving, computational, business, and entrepreneurial skills engineers need across disciplines. Our experienced faculty, with academic and research expertise from prestigious institutions like NIT, IIT, and various state universities, is central to this mission. The Department offers Applied Mathematics in Artificial Intelligence, Statistical Methods for Data Science, Mathematical Foundations of Artificial Intelligence as open electives and Essential Mathematics for Machine Learning as professional Elective. Also our department offers BBA Business Analytics, BFSI, Innovation and Entrepreneurship minor degrees and open electives like Personal Finance and Tax Planning, HRM, Marketing Management. Overall, the Department of Mathematics and Management Sciences is geared towards equipping students with real-time, high-demand Mathematical and Management skills that are directly applicable to engineering challenges.

  • Incorporate experiential learning methods such as case studies, real-world projects, and simulations to strengthen students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Establish industry partnerships and global collaborations to expose students to current industry trends and enhance their practical knowledge and skills.
  • Embed ethical and sustainable practices into the curriculum to foster leadership with a focus on responsible decision-making and social impact.
